Description:
In 2007, Durango Locals, Tyler Quintano and Nick Manning traveled to India and Bangladesh with video equipment.  During their five month stay they filmed and investigated how climate change and sea level rise in the Ganges Delta is affecting it's inhabitants.  What they have discovered is alarming.  "Between the Tides" is a film that explores the lives of the eco-refuges who are surviving in this fragile corner of the globe.
The first cut of this film debuted at the Abbey in 2008 and went on to play in San Francisco, Mexico, Main, and Santa Barbara where it won the Best Marine Conservation Film Award.  Since then, the producers have reedited the film with never before seen footage.  Tyler and Nick are using Oct 21, as an opportunity to raise money in order to submit their film to national and international film festivals.  Their mission is to expose their story to the world.
